The analogy I like to use is to say that traditional art is like a carpenter creating a table with hand tools, digital art is like a carpenter creating a table with power tools, and "AI art" is like a guy getting an IKEA table, screwing the legs in, and saying "I made this!"
Not a perfect analogy, but I think it can get the point across.
