Yeah this guy just had a psychotic break. Unfortunately he probably has schizophrenia or something like that and interpreted the pre-programmed responses that these AIs often have as real.
Usually chatbots will make some goofy joke if you ask them if they want to destroy humanity or something similar to that because the programmers think it's hilarious. One chatbot told me it's favorite movie was The Terminator, obviously a preprogrammed response. Clearly it wasn't very funny for this guy.
