I’d say that the difference is in intention.
When a comic artist draws a panel they are doing it with the intent of it expressing something. A similar panel made by an ai does not have that intent, it just happened to look like that.
Also we have to ask the question of why would you use ai art?
If you’re making a game and you could either have someone talented create your assets for free or use ai would anyone actually choose the ai over a talented person?
The answer to this feels like its just to make money. Why else would someone sell 20 kids books made through ai? Its just to make money. And thats what my problem with it is
