Scolling through here, I've seen other commenters bring this up, and I want to echo this sentiment. AI does not need to get good. Having google give you reminders, or Alexa telling you the weather is perfect. Keep AI where it was as a convenience, or even having it deal with manual chores, like vacuuming (as seen with roombas for example lol). Robot assembly lines are also alright since, while they did take the jobs of those who previously worked there, I can confidently say that no one is all that upset since I doubt anyone enjoyed that work. Granted there are those who do enjoy doing dishes, and repetitive actions are found to be soothing - I myself am one of those people.
TLDR: AI should only replace things that we as a people have all unanimously agreed kinda suck and wish we didn't have to draw. No on hates the fact that you have to draw, write a story, or anything else creative like that. We do it because we enjoy it, and thus it doesn't need to be replaced or "optimized"
