Not that I disagree but none of your suggestions address people who have already been displaced or will be displaced by automation. How about using automation to drive prices lower, reduce retirement age, supplement social programs. I know that would be a hard sell in the current republican controlled administration, but I imagine being permanently out of a job will motivate people to vote differently eventually.
