Developer here. AI art can be useful if you need a quick asset for a game, application, or a D&D session. However, every time I use it, I'm not satisfied with the result. It's no match for the work of an actual artist, and making small changes to a mostly finished image is a pain. It's much easier to talk to an artist, explain what you need, and receive exactly what you wanted. And seriously, calling AI-generated images 'art'... yeah, that's funny.
