I call BS for FFS. why don't these so called experts mention this? It is humans that control what the LLM do. the biggest gaslighting since he invention of religion. this is all hype i am afraid unless i am missing something key about AI I yet have not learned, LLMs don’t think, they don’t remember, and they don’t know if they’re right or wrong. They don’t act on their own. They are stateless systems, meaning each prompt is handled independently with no awareness of previous prompts or anticipation of what comes next. What they do is pattern match based on training, nothing more. What people experience as “memory,” “behavior,” or even “agency” isn’t the model itself, it comes from the surrounding human-written or human reviewed and approved software that stores context, builds prompts, and routes outputs. Although the inference engine process remains running, like a UNIX deamon, the neural network itself has no persistent internal state. After each prompt, all temporary computation is discarded. The model does not accumulate memory, continuity, or awareness. Its internal dynamics are mathematical. The persistence of the process does not imply persistence of mind. That orchestration layer is where control actually exists. So when people talk about AI taking over the world, they’re misunderstanding the fundamentals or they are intentionally misleading people, the real power, and responsibility, still sits with the humans designing and directing these systems. I urge everyone to learn how AI actually works. these mofos are pulling the biggest confidence trick in history. I'm not saying they will not be successful, I am pointing out truth. con gotta con.
