"An artist has no right to speak to gods" Jesus, this attitude is precisely my issue with this entire AI situation. The AI itself is just a program, but the people using it are constantly spitting in artists' faces and it's tiring. They disrespect artists in so many different ways and then get surprised that artists don't want to put up with their shenanigans. It shouldn't be "screw you, we can do what we want and you just have to deal with it". If AI "artists" want any place in the art world, they better start showing respect to the people who were there before them and without whose hard work and years of experience their little AIs wouldn't even work. I saw someone argue against the option to opt in on having your art used because "then no one would submit their works anymore and the AI would slowly die". Well, too bad. If they want artists to provide their work to be used by AI, maybe they should start showing some respect to the craft instead of acting like their gods who then turn into literal toddlers when they're called out for what they're doing wrong.
