Some studies have found that gen ai usage actually DESTROYS creativity. Ironic really.
I don't touch gen ai stuff because its awful to reference , use , takes longer to edit or redraw rhan drawing from scratch, and doesn't look like I drew it but someone else. Oh, and its horrible for the environment. Absolute waste of water and power. The city of Memphis among others are being poisoned by data centers and creating unusable "grey water" as we speak. So I'm discouraged from even playing with dat ai shiz.
Its not even actual ai...its a statistcial algorithm. Thats why it needs such a large dataset to work.
Also "Ai artist " is a oxymoron, the prompter is the requester/commissoner/choosing-beggar . the actual "artist" is the ai, or better yet the actual artists who were robbed & plagiarized.
Nothing is funnier to me than seeing ai evangelists spout about artist being bad and replacable- but still type their names into ai gens. Like you're complaining about the only reason why your ai model even WORKS. You're bichin about the unwilling supplier. It still needs artists to this day and always will and your mad!? Don't like artists, don't use their stuff! 😂
