They are just talking possibilities, in a way AI makes the barrier to entry very difficult for people new to programming to catch up with programmers technically, the better the AI gets the more complex the code is to read. There will some interesting things, many that we can't predict, but as of today everyone's opinion is just as possible as the next persons
