tying this all up at the end with the John Henry bit really puts this in perspective in such a real way. and yeah, almost every thing i was interested in doing while i was growing up, is being replaced by Ai. Current job is not necessarily threatened but it sure does get in the way of me doing my job in real time alot already.
(im a cashier, and the Ai system we are testing is looking for mis-scans, and stops you when it is triggered. Forcing you to watch a video from the EYE in the sky to verify whether or not an item was scanned... and it's set to a timer meaning you cant skip the video)
