I'm doing very OK with ChatGPT. I don't let it decide architecture. I lay out my class and give it specific instructions. Build function X, which receives input Y and delivers output Z. Sometimes I even show it a function of my own and ask it to replicate the approach amd adjuat for the new dataset to produce a similar output.
I have a steady minimum efficiency boost of 3x - on some small projects even 10x.
It will give bugs. It takes handling with care. Not copy pasting blindly. But I cant work without an AI assistant anymore. For me it's ChatGPT in particular.
