I’m supposedly a safe driver with 2 eyes and an organic neural network. What is the value add of lidar if two eyes can be considered safe. People call teslas method doing it “the hard way”. That’s only because it hasn’t been done until now. My Tesla is actually seeing things I miss. I find it safer than a human in many ways.
