I was mad at the commenter at first, but now I just feel bad for them. From artist to artist I know how it feels to never be good enough and not be able to get on the skill level of another person, but look around the internet. There are talented people of all ages, culture, background, even disability. Everyone’s art journey started somewhere, and just because some started at a young age does not mean it’s too late for you to become an artist too , and it makes me even more sad that people have to use ai generation to feel a sense of belonging in the art community. There’s no such thing as ‘blue blood’, or ‘gifts’, not even natural talent, only patience, dedication and passion. Sure, you can continue to use ai to make art but don’t go spreading lies and negativity and put down other people that aspire to become artists.
