One of the first pieces of ai "art" I'd ever seen was a "completed" version of Unfinished Painting by Keith Haring.
(For those who don't know the story behind this piece, it was intentionally left unfinished to represent his life being cut short by AIDS. He passed away a year after making this piece public.)
Ever since then, people who make AI have proven over and over again that they don't recognize or care about the meaning behind art. It's all just pretty pictures to them.
Even when I just draw pretty anime boys, they hold far more meaning than clout chasing. I don't draw things that don't bring me joy.
