Getting to your point on disabled artists. My disability doesn't greatly effect my ability to create (luckily haha), but a great artist who inspired me is Henry Fraser, he it is worth looking into. He is paralyzed from the neck down and still able to make a living and work as an artist, using his mouth. He even had a musical made about him that allowed disabled actors to perform in a way rarely seen before. In that way you can see disabled artists paving the way for other disabled artists to gain accessibility in areas that may have not had it before. Even one of the actresses won an Olivier for her performance (which would not have been seen without the venue pushing for accessibility and Henry's story - Amy Trigg and Ed Larkin have talked about their desire to perform before but the inability due to people not pushing for accessible shows). These ai bros who say the advertise for "accessibility" actually limit us. They push for unethical and lazy ways to create slop rather than looking at how real disabled people want to create despite their limitations. How we are trying to push for more accessibility in places rather than just "oh you can put words down and now create art" which is infantilizing at best. We want to create! We want to be seen! We are just as much of an artist as anyone else!
