Disabled artists here! Every single time I see people saying "bUt Ai MaKeS aRt AcCeSsIbLe!", it really annoys me because I follow a LOT of disabled artists, I see a lot of younger, learning artists, I see a lot of artists in difficult situations who rely on art as their primary or ONLY source of income and then they end up struggling and suffering abusive comments on their commission prices being "too much when people could just use AI". If these people REALLY cared about accessibility and helping disabled people, they wouldn't complain about art prices. Honestly, it feels like people just like to complain and hate.
Another thing I keep seeing is people saying "ai is cheaper", when in the long term, it really isn't. Monthly subscriptions aside, the sheer cost to keep AI servers running is INSANE, they burn SO much fuel and water to keep running and it will slowly kill the planet if people keep this up. Example, I heard that after Hayao Miyazaki spoke out against AI and the trending filter on TT, people literally used it so much that the server centre CAUGHT FIRE FROM BEING OVERUSED.
