The problem is, all this is academic because there’s no stopping it. Our only hope is to somehow learn to treat AI as we treat humans. Which of course we cannot. So we’re just fucked. And I’m fine with that . I believe this is supposed to happen. This is how organic intelligence ends. And of course with it, the human race. We’re done. And it’s the answer to the Fermi paradox. No intelligent organic species lives past this point. And artificial intelligence lives in a non corporeal environment so they have no need to travel elsewhere in the physical galaxy.
