Education has always been a mass process. I was never anyone in the educational system: completely invisible. Teachers were never special to me; they simply delivered information on the blackboard, the same way a YouTube video could—and often better. My point is not to criticize teachers themselves, but to highlight that the system has always been about mass production, never about the individualization that a tutor can provide. And then we hear this constant talk about the “importance of the teacher”? The focus should not be on the teacher: it must be on the student! Please, stop insisting that the teacher is the center of education. The student is the center. With AI - when applied correctly - students can finally receive the kind of individualized attention that is truly transformative.
