The massive implementation of AI will have a profoundly deflationary impact. You could look up 30s style deflation if you want to envision the effect. Yet that is exactly where America and China appear to be heading, as quickly as they can. China is even worse. They are a manufacturing powerhouse that already has unacceptable levels of unemployment, especially among college graduates, yet they are enthusiastic about AI. "We have to keep up with the West." When enough people starve to death, the economies will come back into balance.
