If you make ‘truth’ the most important criteria for AI, a lot of these problems are avoided. AI is being developed during the ‘post-truth’ era that nobody seems to fight against. There are already core values such as “Do no harm” in medicine, or Googles previous “Don’t be evil” statement which could be incorporated into AI. Asimov had it right with the 3 laws of robotics.
