It makes sense to move beyond the traditional working mindset and instead focus on exploring the world and truly enjoying life on our planet — free from the constant concerns of food, shelter, or travel. These basic needs should be accessible to all. With the capabilities of AI and robotics, we now have the means to automate much of the labor that has long defined human life.
I’ve been an advocate of this vision for over a decade. It’s time for humanity to evolve beyond a work-centric existence and take on a more meaningful role — guiding AI to improve our world while we collectively decide the direction our society should take.
There is nothing to fear in embracing this shift. In the grand scheme of things, we all face mortality — whether sooner or later. Meanwhile, the world continues to suffer from conflicts often sparked or sustained by those in power. This is our chance to break that cycle. It’s primarily those who seek to preserve their control or fear losing their influence who resist this progress. The rest of us should move forward boldly, with a shared vision for a more liberated and equitable future
