Pretty much every day. Hasn't stopped me from earning a bunch of promotions though.
The key is to figure out what the business you work for values and get good at that. For me, it was engagement and being a team player. Made it to Director without ever getting good at writing code. Well, not what I consider to be good, I can code, just not LeetCode style stuff with optimal algorithms, efficient use of resources and/or no bugs.
