Two things:
1) 99% employment, so no one is making any money...I think the last thing the elite need to worry about is who's making the most money because robots are unlikely to go on shopping sprees (unless robots buy robots to do its work for it - definition of "irony"); if humans have no employment, who's making money from whom, and how are the unemployed capable of the basic: feeding themselves and keeping a roof over their heads
2) if AI is connected and runs on electricity or some energy, what happens to everything when someone "turns off the lights", e.g., EMP, nuclear attack that hits a main line that is needed, what have you.
