Dude... that was one of the most accurate descriptions of GPT/generative LLMs I've ever heard by... well I was going to say 'a non-programmer' but that was better than how most programmers describe it! I developed early predictive text system for people with cognitive and motion difficulties and it's so frustrating to hear people act like generative systems "think" when it's probabilistic based on relationships in the input text. We even tuned the models for specific use cases like science. This was in 1992!
