You managed to address a hidden fear I've had about AI that i havent really seen others talk about. I remember only a few years ago when AI art was super easy to spot. Yet I was so caught off guard at how fast AI (both video and art) advanced to the point where it can even make animated film trailers. While it is still possible to tell when something is AI, how long until it is indistinguishable? But it doesn't matter because AI content has no lived experiences of its own to draw from, so its output literally means nothing.
I also appreciate you saying that you've used AI before and showed that AI is at its best when it's used as a tool to accomplish certain tedious tasks (like the remove background feature in Photoshop). Even while writing this comment, I have Grammarly installed, which corrects my spelling (I know that's not really AI, but it's a tool that removes the need to perform a meticulous task, much like AI tools). I could go back and correct my spelling myself, but it's just more convenient to use Grammarly's spellcheck.
