I think this all depends on the intent behind any image or even writing and general design. If you draw an image for the single purpose of illustrating something visually appealing then it has the same depth as if it were generated by AI. You can say this is less likely because of the barrier to entry but that situation would still exist in say most AAA games. Now when it comes to art that intends to convey something other than “that’s nice” then I 90% agree. AI can still be prompted and directed to take the intended shape you desire. This is the most true if the director has the skill to do it themselves. However as is with most art, the more you separate it from this “director” the more diluted art gets. I just see AI as a layer of dilution like having a co-artist would be. Not the same extent though
