"Real artistry is in the output and not in the tools or process " could not be further from the truth. Art can be made with any tool, but what makes it art is the creative process, how you use it and ply your imagination in use of the tools. AI "art" has little to no process aside from "type in the desired output."
I am a mid level artist and am versed in several media (digital 2d art, pencil, colored pencil, charcoals, watercolors, acrylic, oils, pens, markers, clay sculpture, 3d animation and modeling in blender) i have many playgrounds for art, and have learned many things. I also have no shortage of people who are willing to pay hundreds for my works. So that guy who says "nobody will pay $30 for art commission " is so far off base.
Anyone can create, and through the act of creation, they can create better. But AI doesn't help in that pursuit. It just outsources the job of creativity to unimaginative machines.
