This human era is - literally - watching the extinction events unfold, probably in the coming decade or few decades. Nuclear war is a high probability mass extinction event. A.I. is a near certainty mass extinction event. Add diseases/viruses (human, animals, livestocks, plants), starvation, and dehydration, and the collapse of economies and energy grids. We are doomed in the coming near future; could be less than 5 years but I don't give humans more than 50 years....
