I know what I’m about to say is going to very much likely get hateful comments and a bunch of thumbs down. So, before I get to all that. I’d like to start that do not believe or agree that AI “art” or “AI artists” will ever truly replace genuine artists. And by that I mean artists who actually care about the work they produce. Who rather than getting political online and attacking people they don’t like or customers because of what they might have requested or because of some post they said on their personal social media account ect. They instead focus on the request they got. And they keep their political/ideological beliefs to themselves. I do however, believe AI “art” and “AI artists” will however replace a large number of artists though. Mainly the ones doing art not as a hobby first that can coincidentally pay bills and support them. But rather, replace the ones doing it only for money, for attention, for status in the artist community. Those are who think likely will be replaced. Because if you genuinely enjoy your craft, and your good at it too. You don’t have to worry about competition as much. Because you will always have customers both loyal and new.
