There are so many types of art out there that it seems odd to me to be afraid of AI. Consider the sheer diversity of artistic expression: AI can't sculpt (at least not yet, unless it's trained to 3D print), nor can it piece together a mosaic from recycled soda cans, fling paint onto a canvas like Jackson Pollock, or cultivate a flower garden into a living masterpiece. Art is far more than pixels on a screen—it's tactile, intentional, and deeply human!
In the future, I see AI art functioning much like fast food: convenient when you're in a rush but never a true substitute for a home-cooked meal crafted by a real artist. When you need something unique, personal, or deeply meaningful, AI-generated art will always fall short. The same logic applies across all crafts. There are artisans in every field—carpenters, ramen chefs, web developers—but not everyone has access to custom craftsmanship all the time. I found your video to be insightful and full of love for your passion, and I don't want to dismiss your fears entirely, but I do think the general fear surrounding AI is a little out of proportion.
