I believe you are mistaken. Job losses started BEFORE chatGPT was released: it started some months previously, alongside the rapid rise of interest rates. You all are lost in a spurious correlation 😆. Job loss is not caused by AI, it is caused by the macroeconomic landscape governed by high interest rates.
All companies that now make all junior employees redundant will crumble when the FED lowers interest rates down again. Then these same companies will be looking for new talent and won't be finding it. And, of course, AI won't always be cheaper than workers. Because chatGPT will not be free (or almost free) forever.
