Don’t blame AI. They’ve been devaluing a bachelors degree since I was in school (2008). Requiring a bachelors degree for every job forces very large portions of people to get one just to be employed. After you get too large of a portion of the job market with the same baseline qualifications, it makes it worthless. Think in the same way as a HS diploma. Having one doesn’t separate you from the competition because nearly everyone has one.
