ok, in the example of an Ai input of quakpot dark energy and the ai having to decide "do I stick with the realm of known science or do we go on this dnd adventure" the thing is that to the program "realm of known science" is a dnd adventure. there is no baseline of like having to agree about what apples are if I throw one at your head that is intrinsically necessary for us communicating in the same space. so the ai cannot have a visceral weight between "reality" and "imagination", in this imagination is it's baseline, and it imagines reality.
