The Ghibli filter is kind of useful because it ackshually helps to disprove the effectiveness of AI art. Nausicaa, and Kiki, and Mononoke are adorable in large part because of complex things they do in their stories. Bernie Sanders isn't very adorable because he doesn't exist to be adorable. AI art can never make Bernie Sanders look as cool as Master Yupa even though they're comparable to each other, because AI can't figure out what it is about both individuals which makes them individually cool. If AI ever made a commercial quality feature film it would still come across as a B-movie. A good example is this old movie called Westender which is about a guy with a cape and a sword walking around in scenic locations having bland conversations with people. That movie was made by humans but it was humans who didn't have the mindset of how to use a guy with a sword in a way that makes such a person look cool. An AI filmmaker might be able to make a sophisticated film but the AI fail to cut out instances of people saying and doing things which are annoying or which make no sense. BTW, I compare Bernie Sanders with Master Yupa because Master Yupa is the liege lord of The Valley Of Sand. If AI tried to make a movie about the adventures of Bernie Sanders and Master Yupa, the AI would certainly look for an excuse to shoehorn Bernie's last name into some joke structure or some myth structure based on that. A serious human filmmaker would automatically know not to do that, because he knows that the audience knows that it's only a coincidence that Bernie's last name has the word "sand" in it. An AI doesn't really know what the audience knows or doesn't know, so it'll screw up the content with tons of narrative mistakes and performance mistakes.
