the guy is interesting and surely smart in his given field, but where regulation, politics, human nature, and everything else are concerned he's an idiot. What happens when you "kneecap" AI (though he dislikes the word) and China - where the government and 'private' tech companies are INDISTINGUISHABLE. So even if China says they'll adhere - wtf is keeping them from just lying to us? It naive, and not worthy of the intellect he proffers. The military industrial complex is not of a hive mind, it is not the cause of war. It is simply our best means of fighting them. War is our default.
