I'm sure someone's said it before but Luddites feared the... one person with tech vs. tech itself
sure it's nice to tell your house to microwave ramen for you at the perfect moment to get it fresh when you are home but all the things that can go wrong and the inherent... like you need to tell it so much, and it's all data
oh, forgot, and the fact if you hurt the feelings of whoever controls the tech they can just exclude you and you can't do anything about it
