I hate genAI but I hope you read parts of the article where they explained it was during a time when they were using placeholders from both Unreal engine assets and the said ai asset. It was a mistake on their part for missing that one asset but they said they would never actually have genAI stuff on their games. It’s just sad that a single human mistake (failing to replace that asset before ship) destroys on big thing. Like one burning tree making a whole mountain bald. Yes it’s frustrating but for e33’s case, it was an honest mistake, which a lot of you people seem to miss. Would you guys rather they hide the fact or come up honest? Larian’s situation, now that’s a different story
