What makes me anxious about AI or AGI or whichever is the cultural impact on the curiosity and wonder of the human race. I wouldn't want us to lose our desire to know things and put in the work to learn things. Being a person with skills only comes from building them slowly over time, and I don't want our society to fail to do so because we forget how over hundreds of years.
