I recently stumbled upon a couple of accounts on IG where they posted beautifully made art and they got thousands of followers. As I looked around, I learned they were AI-generated artworks. I don't know what to feel. They were stunning, yes. But I felt some kind of second-hand embarrassment, disappointment, disbelief, and awkwardness there. "How do they feel posting artworks that they actually didn't really create on their own?", "How do they feel getting credit and praises for those images or art, probably created by an artist somewhere, and manipulated and produced by an AI using just their text prompts?". Yes, maybe text prompts are not easy to learn as well, but still, to me, it feels like graduating from a university by copying your classmate's work that is from their own efforts. Just my thoughts and feelings.
