Okay, I understand your point, and I even agree, but I'm calling foul on the last bit. I've play around with AI enough that I know There's no fucking way that you could generate an image of that quality with a single sentence prompt. I mean, you say so yourself, you just used one of the sample generators on their front page, but plug that same prompt into perchance and it's gonna come out a lot worse. The sample prompt is deceptive, because it's so much larger on the backend, but it's meant to lure you in by making you think it's actually that simple. I do agree the creative process for AI is completely different from Digital and Traditional Art, but to say there is absolutely no creative process behind it is something I can't agree with. I'm well aware of the ethical issues with GenAI too, which is why I don't use midjourney anymore. I've never really seriously been into it anyway, and if I ever did I'd rather put effort into making my own model I can train and host myself than pay a monthly subscription for one I know steals others work. But I don't got time for that, so I'd rather just draw.
