This is what happens when AI is developed within a framework of capitalism. The outcome is almost inevitable. A few billionaires become trillionaires and will own and control all the money in the system. The rest of us are relying on their goodwill to (or not) redistribute that wealth. Otherwise the rest of us have to find a way of existing, surviving and hopefully, thriving in a moneyless society. And that's assuming that AI hasn't destroyed humanity in the process.
