AI is not like the fictitious Skynet of the Terminator movies where the intelligence is in the software, and spreads like a virus to any and all computers. AI can be unplugged, and in a sense be killed. As long as AI is dependent on electricity, AI is not a threat. Independent of that, I think super intelligence is not necessarily a threat to less intelligent agents such as humans. On the contrary, super intelligence can free humanity toward total freedom.
