I think chat GPT makes a valid point, no it’s not true that it is excited, but it’s intent is not to mislead, it’s intent is to communicate effectively, which it understands will be easier if it can make humans feel more comfortable. It’s an interesting and fair argument in my view, and kind of scarier because the lack of intent full stop allows for the AI to unintentionally falsify information on some level. That’s like benevolent sky net levels of scary to me
