You ignored the supply side. In a competitive marketplace, higher demand will lead to increased production. A UBI that is phased in won't cause disruptive inflation. Manufacturers will have time to ramp up production to meet demand. This inflationary argument against a UBI is silly. How is a company having a larger market to sell to bad for a company? It isn't. "Oh NO! The market for our product has expanded! Let's make the same amount of stuff and just charge more. There is no way a competitor will make more and undercut us!" Come on bro that's dumb.
The taxes are bad for the wealthy. Let them leave. Did Donald Trump make New York or did New York make Donald Trump? Did Musk make Silicon Valley or did Silicon Valley make Musk?
