I understand the rage at the scammers but lets not forget Dragon con in this situation. They should have vetted the artists better and realistically only did something once other artists started mentioning things. Dragon Con staff probably realistically didn't care and wouldn't have cared if people didn't say anything as that's just more money for them. Another booth sold. That's it. Dragon Con should be providing way better vetting on their artists to ensure actual artists are being shown, and not junk Ai. If that's the image they want to give their con goers "We don't care. We just want to make money." than what makes them any different than just shopping online or any other soulless company?
