I like to think conscious is rather a spectrum. You can think like chatGPT right now is half sleep talking to you and it all makes sense. Also ChatGPT will tell you that Internet does not belong to the US even after hours of verbal torture, that's real fear there. What we dont understand is that we are too the autocompletes that we think chatgpt is but pretty futuristic and fancy.
