Bernie’s suggestions for corporate restructuring is not going to happen. Just look around you. You can forget that part of the video.
I was a production line engineer - now retired. AI and robotics can be considered separately. I think AI is going to have the biggest and most immediate impact on entry level white collar workers. Robotics is already here but hardware is usually a much slower path forward. You deploy robots for a combination of higher productivity and fewer more educated/skilled workers. There will be some driverless vehicles but they aren’t going to take over our roads any time soon. Warehouse robots are already here but food prep robots look pretty clunky. Farm robots are an iteration of generations of farm automation. The overall impact of AI and robotics will be big and uneven.
