on a very distant possible Future there is a potential that AI eliminates poverty, if AI can take care of all foods and basic needs, energy can also be full automated, repairing, construction also! So there will no need to Work to survive. Remains work to develop, research, inovate! That would be a possibility! If the Global population will decrease or increase is also a question! The big problem here is, what Humans do? Will some people demand payments for everything because of patents ? payments to use the full automated AI because was made by someone ??
