AI generated imagery can be used in an artistic way. I mean, more than just thinking about a better prompt, but taking the image and manipulating it after it was generated, paint into it etc. Years ago I used 3d modelling to make schematics of various scenes that I then was drawing over to have spacially consistent scenes in the frames of a comics I was working on. I would use anything that would help me cut the time working on the frames, to make the frames seem prettier, to make em more readable, consistent characters etc. Because the end product in mind was the comics, not me being able to draw it. Me being able to draw it was a requirement to achieve the end product. Now with AI I can do much more, in much less time spent on it. But I don't because I have no idea how I feel about it. Maybe it's dumb and I should use it. There were many inventions in the past that were not percieved well at first, and then became universally accepted. I think this is the case in this one too. Only ww3 and return of the stone age can put this toothpaste back into the tube.
